Berlin Märkte

If you're looking for something to do on the weekend (especially on Sunday when most places are closed) head over to one of Berlin's many food and flea markets. Each market offers something unique and there's always something for everyone to see and do, whether it's shopping for trinkets, furniture, old records, or clothes, browing at each of the stalls, grabbing a bite to eat, or just listening to some great music.
So grab your wallets and get ready for a cultural experience!

For an Asian Cultural Experience:
Thai Park in Schöneberg
Thai families gather in Preußenpark to sell homemade Thai eats (a somewhat controversial 'market' since it's not really legal for them to sell without a license). Remember to bring a picnic blanket!
Konstanzer Straße 46; U7 Konstanzer Straße or Fehrberlliner Straße

For the Vintage Lover:
Arkonaplatz in Prenzlauer Berg
Lots of retro stuff, especially from the 50's and 60's
